Senior Team

John Salak, Founder & President

John Salak is a communications professional with more than 20 years of experience in the United States and Europe. Mr. Salak formed The Salak Group in 2006 to provide effective and efficient strategic communications guidance and program execution to a wide range of companies, organizations and individuals. Prior to forming The Salak Group, he served as a senior principal with The Dilenschneider Group (DGI), an executive communications consultancy headquartered in New York. Mr. Salak is also an award-winning journalist and editor whose experience includes a five-year assignment in London for United Media. His work has appeared in USA Today, The Financial Times, Newsday, Conde Nast Traveler, Crains New York Business, Food & Wine, Executive Business Travel and Woman’s Day. Credits also include five books that range from Violence in America (The Millbrook Press, 1995) to The Best of New York (Gault Millau Inc., 1995). Management positions include serving as Editor-in-Chief of tele.com, an award-winning business magazine founded by The McGraw-Hill Companies. Among other honors, he is the recipient of two Jesse H. Neal/American Business Awards

Uli Iserloh, Director of Social Media

As a digital marketer and strategist, Uli Iserloh has been advising small and medium-sized businesses on marketing strategy and brand development. In 1998, he founded Bright Launch, a New York Metro area full-service agency focusing on web design and small-business consulting, which later expanded into ecommerce, social media and search engine optimization (SEO) services. A recognized leader in implementing strategic direction across website, SEO and social media channels, Mr. Iserloh uses cutting-edge tactics proven to provide immediate results.

Charles Kouri, Senior Marketing Consultant (Chicago)

Charles Kouri has more than 20 years of experience as a marketing specialist and content strategist. Mr. Kouri is particularly well versed in executing integrated marketing campaigns that utilize print, web and multimedia systems.

Aimee Flaquér Colón, Director of Online Design

Aimee Flaquér Colón has a rich history of producing high-level and effective designs for award-winning magazines, ad campaigns, marketing initiatives and Websites for a variety of clients. She holds a Fine Arts degree in Graphic Communication from Parson’s School of Design and a Certificated in Digital Science from New York University.

Omosede (Mo) Ayinde,

Ms. Ayinde is an experienced professional with a strong background in public relations, marketing and advertising. Skilled in social media, traditional and digital advertising, copy writing and event planning and management, Ms. Ayinde has helped nonprofit organizations, professional groups and medium-sized businesses achieve their communications goals. A former business owner with a strong entrepreneurial bent, she holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) focused in Communication and Media Studies from Fordham University in New York.

Suzanne Ausnit, Associate

Suzanne Ausnit has a record of achievement. A former journalist, Ms. Ausnit had been an editor at Food & Wine, The New York Post and CMP Inc. She transferred her skill set into marketing and public relations and now supports a range of clients, corporations and organizations.

Martin D’Amato, Digital Marketing Consultant

Martin D’Amato is a skilled and experienced digital marketing professional who is committed to delivering the perfect message to build brand awareness and generate sales. A graduate of St. John’s University in New York, Mr. D’Amato has worked with various management and sales teams to drive revenues through website analysis and enhanced design, market research and competitive analysis, social media and content marketing, and campaigns focused on Google AdWords and Facebook advertising. His work with auto dealerships in recent years has generated record sales volumes.
